A Brief History

We founded E.L.F. Wood Products in May, 1988, operating out of the basement of our home. Our shop consisted of a few drills, saws and some traditional hand woodworking tools. We leased our first facility -- a ramshackle, falling down, converted garage -- in the western suburbs of Atlanta. Much bigger than our basement, we were able to build projects without bumping arms.

Our customers and sales grew, as did our reputation as a quality producer of cabinetry and display items. We hired a few people and continued to grow our new business for the next five years. Even though we were a small company, we were able to provide quality products and were well respected by our customers. We're proud to say that our first customer remains as one of our customers today.

In 2003, after years of growth and several moves, we landed in our current facility at 785 Great Southwest Pkwy in Atlanta, Georgia.

Recently, we're proud to announce that we've evolved our name to become "E.L.F. Displays, Fixtures and Millwork." We feel this is a better fit since, besides products made out of wood, we now offer products of the highest quality melamines, laminates, hard wood trims, stained veneers, solid surface materials and more.

The expansion of our capabilities, facilities and workforce has necessitated changes, but our policy of fair dealings with both our customers and our employees is the same. The longevity of our business is concrete evidence that fair, honest practices and coordinated efforts of our employees is the basis of our success. We sincerely hope we can work with you!
